I had been to Prague once before in my teens on a college trip but to be honest the trip was a disaster from start to finish and I do not have one single photograph, nor did I actually remember what Prague was like. So when Jamie bought me a trip to Prague for my 30th Birthday I was surprised and intrigued about how I would feel going back there. To my complete surprise Prague turned out to be one of the most beautiful cities I have been too and I actually walked around with a strange sensation knowing I have stood in these spots before but yet I don't remember it. We had a fab weekend break and again another interesting and different city to capture with my lens.
The famous clock
There were so many interesting buildings, sculptures and art around Prague, in fascinating shapes, colours and materials.
I couldn't believe my luck when we realised there was a Tim Burton exhibition in the main square - I may have squealed and dragged Jamie in there in under 5 seconds
Illuminations at night over the river
The below photograph has been shortlisted for the Photoion 2014 Photography competition which is really exciting - 'Moody blues on the jazz dock'
This city is full of quirky architecture and sculptures
Really pleased that Jamie brought me back to Prague to dispell my uneasiness and to explore a fantastic city full of art and culture
